100% copper exciter coil set
 
Checking coils:  Right hand= stranded off coil to black wiresolid wire from right coil to red wire going to receptacle stranded wires are on both brushholders you need to read 160ohms across those or coils are bad. Left hand= both solid wires from coil to left brushholder.
